Sylvia Wynter's Dream

As we tend to forget that the deaf community is a normal part of the Jamaican society, we often alienate our self under the guise that we can not relate and therefore cannot integrate. Let us not be shy to step forward mend the gap that separates us from having full access of our island and our experiences as Jamaican people no matter the disabilities we may have. Jamaican sign language is just as beautiful as the Jamaican language.
