Good day my fellow bloggers, my name is Domenic Lewin and I am a Liberal Studies major at the University of the West Indies. My reason for taking this course is to get a better understanding of how digital nonfiction operates on multiple platforms. Domenic, love the video! I love the light editing as well. Your choice of background music was – for the most part – suitable as it lacked words, had a simple, consistent-enough beat, and wasn’t too loud. My only issue was that you needed to give us more eye contact.

The video essay was a great idea. I think it would be great if you could include some examples of how librarianship changed, comparing the traditional practice with the new digital space. It seemed that you were a bit vague or confused about what you were trying to say around the 3-minute mark.

Love how you started off the video with the slide into the frame – that was a nice touch. I wish you had been able to use a teleprompter of some sort so that the reading of your summary would have been more seamless and so you wouldn’t have been looking down at the paper as it takes away from how engaging the video is. Good job with adding pictures and text throughout.
