AMNESIA: HOW MEMORY MAKES US THE MAIN CHARACTER
Under the theme amnesia: the things we forget about ourselves, I hope to focus on the things we each forget on a personal level. As we develop our self-concepts, there are some memories that root themselves into the foundation of who we are, but more interesting to me are the things we must forget to live with ourselves, to love ourselves, to become better versions of ourselves. Our brains have their own built in mechanisms that prioritize, filter, distort and repress memories, but what exactly are the things we forget?

The next few months as a part of this creative non-fiction for digital media course as a creative writing minor, for me, is an opportunity to expand my writing beyond fiction and beyond paper to the digital present and future.
