The Jamaican Minority Report

a page made by Dominic Ramsay

Welcome to a world where

Minor Is Major

In Jamaica, the land we love, we often refer to ourselves as this tiny little island nation in the Caribbean and wear it as a badge of honour as we retort: ‘Wi likkle but wi Tallahwah’.

As endearing as that sounds…it’s not true.

We are Tallahwah, but we are also bigger than we seem.

This page is a place to learn about the minorities of Jamaica, the Jamaica we don’t see, a Jamaica that doesn’t get reported, a Jamaica that gets overlooked. The identities of the unusual, peculiar and beautiful minorites.
