Domenic Lewin is a second-year student at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. The reason for making this page comes from his course, LITS3604- Creative Non-Fiction Writing and Digital Media, where each student should do a topic under the theme; Jamaican Voices: Real and/or Imagined. Domenic has chosen to do the Voice of Fake News (In the Jamaican Media) for his project.
The Voice of Fake News in the Jamaican Media
As an alternative, some false information is merely the result of messages that change as they are passed from one person to another. Misinformation or disinformation can spread swiftly online since a lot of people don’t always examine the source before sharing it.
Because they disagree with it or don’t like it, some people willfully assert that news that is factually accurate is actually fake news. I chose this topic the bring light to the issues that fake news has in the Jamaican media, and how it can affect peoples lives. Please enjoy reading and watching the work I have done!.
