Through this project different modes of media and writing were used to explore the issue of loving our Jamaican language. It was important to not exclude the members of the deaf community as they are just as important and face just as much or even more boundaries as it comes to communication.

The Importance of Media
There is no doubt that there are a lot of opinions to be heard. If we chose to listen then we will hear them. Social media is a great place to hear the voices of the people.
Through platforms such as TikTok, Twitter and Youtube, we are able to connect with one another, no matter the language we speak.

A look into the households of many Jamaican. Often we are judged even at home for our diction. Even when there is no evidence that it directly affects our education, the treatment of Patois is that it presents you as less educated.

Exploring how we respond to white Jamaicans through social media. A look into how colorism affects our views on language. Let us investigate why our attitudes change when Patois is spoken by white Jamaicans.
Highlighting how diverse our nation is and how many influences we have on our language from our intricate backgrounds. It is not just to love our language but to see how inclusive it can be of others.
Through this movie we are able to identify how language is used to represent people from from a particular upbringing. We can also note how it is used in different settings and environments.
